Which of these cities to visit in Portugal: Faro or Porto?
I and two colleagues plan to travel to Birmingham to Portugal in the final in September 2010. Which city is most appropriate according to the order of: – Good value – decent hotel near a beach (triple) – cheap or budget travel, food, gifts etc – Nice and sunny beaches – restaurants halal – that is, places of interest activities, sports. – Options – Water Park (if possible) Thanks! A final thing about the criteria, namely, the stages of football's famous attractions, sports facilities, places of historical interest.
Faro – beach, sun, all prepared for tourism with all the equipment. Most beautiful places are Faro to the Spanish coast. Porto – the old city. Nice buildings and street life. A pleasant nightlife in some special way. One hotel from hundreds overlooking the river and overlooking the sea and the beach in front. Da Boa Vista Hotel located in Foz do Douro. 3 stars. The triples. Port Shopping is a necessity, due to the low prices they have in Northern Portugal Porto by the time you're colder than Faro.
