traveling lpn nursing jobs

Are you seeking a career which allows you flexible working hours, lots of variety on the job, opportunities to travel and advance your career, excellent salary and benefits, and the personal fulfillment which comes by making a real difference in people’s lives? It is possible to obtain nursing certification as an LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) or RN (Registered Nurse) associate’s degree in as little as two years of nursing school study. And working in nursing scrubs is one of the most respected and fastest growing professions in America: in six of the past seven years, nursing has come in first in a national “ethical standards and honesty” poll. The aging US population will require a greater demand for all health services, and industry experts predict a shortfall of over 800,000 nurses in the US by 2020.

Besides in-hospital nursing positions, there are many opportunities available in home nursing. This can be a good career choice for people who don’t care for the bureaucracy of a hospital, and who prefer to spend more time with patients and less with paperwork. Home care nurses work through local agencies and they have regular patients whom they see every day, helping them to dress, to take their medication, and to do simple exercises. Being a home health provider can provide an exceptionally flexible work schedule, the nurse deciding what days and hours will be worked (matching the needs of patients referred by the agency).

Here are some of the advantages of putting on nurse scrubs: Flexible hours: Nurses are called upon around-the-clock, so there are a variety of workday options available. Some nurses work only three or four days per week; or only for a few hours per day. Top-notch salaries and bonuses: RN salaries can top $75,000 per year depending upon geographic location, experience, and specialization. Additionally, hospitals trying to attract and keep experienced caregivers frequently offer bonuses for signing on. Continuing education: Many LPN’s and RN’s who have earned associate’s degrees and obtained hospital jobs are able to take advantage of subsidized studies from their hospitals or medical facilities to earn bachelor’s degrees and move ahead in their profession. Variety: There are many medical specialties in which nurses can participate, so the job is never dull. Some specialties include emergency and trauma, ambulatory care, critical care, long term care and rehabilitation, among numerous others. Around-the-World Opportunities: The demand for nurses is world-wide, so after obtaining your degree, you can choose to work in cheap nursing scrubs where you want to, practically anywhere in the world. Making a Difference: Because nurses take responsibility for helping their patients to cope with injury and illness and help to promote health and prevent disease, they can go home every day with the knowledge that they have made a positive impact in other people’s lives.

Wearing nursing scrubs is your membership in one of America’s top careers. The call for professionals in nurse scrubs will only increase dramatically in the coming decades, making cheap nursing scrubs a good investment.

Real College or Job Training?

I want to attend a community college for their Nursing program to become a RN. I’m wondering if there would be any need for me to travel off to a “real college” when I could just take job training for the same thing.

It seems like I can start community college and become an LPN and then take their bridge program to become an RN. But I’m confused as to weather there is some degree or something I have to receive in college that would make it official. Or weather i can just start working right out of community college.

There is a 2-year RN degree and a 4-year. During the program, you’ll be required to do clinicals. This is where you get your job experience. Upon receiving your degree, you should have no problem landing a job.

Do not wait to the last moment to buy your plane ticket. Do not set strict dates for your trip. Many people prefer to leave on a Friday at the end of a work week and then return on a Saturday or a Sunday so that they can be back in time for work on Monday. If you have the ability to give yourself more options in departure and return dates, your fees will be cheaper.  Air travel is much less expensive on days that have decreased amounts of traffic.  Fridays tend to be the most popular departure date so the tickets will be most expensive on those days.

Since the prices of flights are not fixed, there will be occasions when the airfare will either increase or decrease day to day.
