The Salt Lake area hosted the 2002 Winter Olympic games, and for good reason. There are lots of resorts for skiers here. The area has unique snow composition and an abundance of sunny days – the perfect combination for anyone wishing to spend time on the slopes.
One large resort is Snowbird, which offers excellent classes for families and beginners. You can also enjoy the shops and the great lodging. It is a more expensive resort than some others, but worth it for its amenities and all-inclusive feel.
If you have young children, you might want to consider Brian Head Resort. It’s unique among ski resorts in Utah, because it sets aside an entire mountain just for children and beginners. The mountain is known as Navajo Mountain, and it’s right next to the learning center of the resort. This setup gives parents a more secure feeling for their children’s well being, and beginners who haven’t gotten used to skiing can feel more at ease.
One of the more famous resorts in Utah is the Park City Mountain Resort. Both beginner and experienced skiers can benefit from the instruction the resort offers, which covers a broad range of experience. Park City Mountain Resort has a lot of different levels of children’s programs. They create a family atmosphere that’s fun and safe.
If you’re a beginner on a budget, try Wolf Mountain. This resort is located on the edge of the town of Eden, and it offers a very inexpensive skiing experience. The resort is known for an excellent teaching terrain, and it offers some good family packages.
Another choice for beginner skiers is Bald Eagle Mountain at Deer Valley Resort. It’s famous for an area called Wide West. There are classes available for all ages at the ski school.

What airports in the England/London travel to Saint George Municipal Airport in Utah?
Me and my family are planning a trip to see some friends in Ivins, the only way we can see so far to get there would be british airlines. but that would take us to Las Vegas, which would mean us having to find a way to travel 150 miles. We can’t bring any vehicles or such.
St George has an airport, but it’s small with only commuter flights.
Fly to Las Vegas, rent a car, and drive. Rentals are cheap in the US and the scenery on the way is pretty interesting.
