So you just haven’t been able to make it in your home based business huh. Starting to think or hear all the stories about only the people at the top are making money and we’re only left feeling like bottom feeders. Then you have to hear a story about Simeon Cryer by MLM Magazine who who has only been around since 2002.

Thats right, its not an overnight success, but someone who has been in the business for five or six years owning a million dollar home looking out into the ocean is quite a feat in such a short time. MLM Magazine does a great job on letting you know two things within that type of statement alone.

Number one, it doesn’t happen overnight and number two, it can happen to you. Both important things to understand when you first get involved with any home based business and we have a feeling MLM Magazine knew that as well. The story is just as something any of us would tell.

Simeon got hit up by a friend the first time and according to the MLM Magazine interview, Cryer says he said no about 3 times before he actually took the plunge. This was not full time, and in fact, he had two other jobs already so wasn’t sure how he would have time for this home based business anyway.

Seemingly enough, he “took action” as he put it and made about three grand his first 3 months involved. Looking as though he was only working about 1-2 hours a day as MLM Magazine states in their interview. 13 months later he had earned double of what he was making with his 9-5s so you can only know what he did after that.

Then just as MLM Magazine proclaims in the beginning of the interview, he is living in a million dollar home and driving fancy cars. Besides all that, Cryer states he loves being able to spend so much time with his family. Sure, you would too, especially when it involves traveling, traveling, and more traveling.

In the Network Marketing arena, I have done a lot of things. From Software Development, Lead Generation and Sales, to building Uni-Level’s, Binaries, Public Speaking Engagements, E-Book Authoring, DVD Development and Sales, I’ve made well over a million dollars in NET profit over the last 8 years. But ALL this required a lot of work, Joint Venture dealings, etc. I decided after these profitable but challenging eight years that I only wanted residual income, from an established company who would make sure I would receive a check for decades, if not for life.

One of my Hallmarks was being listed, along with Jeff West on the front page of Six Figure Magazine in 2002. That’s when I knew the power of Network Marketing Magazines and how much impact they can have on ones business.

It’s a great story and one many people should hear when most of everything else their heads are filled with is negativity in the MLM industry. It does happen to anyone, but like Cryer says, “take action.” If you do we might see your name in MLM Magazine sometime soon as well. In 2006, Cryer was told he was in the top 100 MLM moneymakers in the world. Do you have the desire to make your dreams come true?

A Career as a Travel Journalist?

Hey there! So I’m a high school student with dreams of becoming a journalist. My motto is that everyone has a story & that story is waiting to be heard. First off, I want to have a career in print journalism, like writing for magazines or newspapers. I love to write, travel, meet new people, and experience different cultures. While surfing the web, I stumbled upon travel journalism, and I think that this could be my future career! It has everything I love to do. Doing some more research, however, I found out that travel journalism is very competitive. I still think that I can be successful with travel journalism. Besides, there is nothing better than getting paid to do what you love. So my question is, is travel journalism as fun and rewarding as I think it is? How is it in comparison to newspaper/magazine journalism? Also, what is the average salary of a travel journalist? and what is the average salary of a newspaper/magazine journalist?

Thanks so much in advance!

The one problem that has always been nettling car lovers is the question of how to individualize their car, so that it makes a style statement when it sets the road on fire. Everyone loves to travel in great looking cars. Unfortunately, most cars on the streets look similar. The truth is, if you’ve seen one Toyota, you’ve seen them all. Ditto for other cars. There really are no external differences to make your car stand out from the others of the same brand. Sometimes, people even confuse your brand with some other brand!

Auto body kits have been developed to change all that. They are the perfect answer to your desire for a stunner that will leave onlookers gasping with pleasure and sighing with envy. These style enhancers change the way people look at your car, and at you. With so many kits available on the market these days, you can alter the look of almost any brand of car. For instance, a simple addition like adding car wings can really turn heads. That is not the only function of auto body kits.

Auto body kits enhance the performance and power of your vehicle. In many cases, they augment the dormant characteristics of the car thus making it more adaptive to the particular road conditions in which the car is run. For instance, adding spoilers to a high-speed car can greatly increase fuel efficiency, speed and traction of the car. Thus, auto body kits are not designed to up the style quotient of your gig, they also promote several functionalities like providing better swerve, road contact, traction, bettering the aerodynamic condition of the car and enhancing other external features. Auto body kits therefore provide every ardent car lover the freedom to personalize their cars to the highest degree. Since there are various options available, you can easily find a kit that answers your needs.

Most auto body kits contain parts that are made of fiberglass or polyurethane. Accessories made from these materials are highly durable and hardy. They are also suitable for most brands of cars. Usually, a typical kit includes front and rear bumpers, fenders, side skirts and bumper skirts and spoilers. Depending on the kit you choose, you will also get a number of features that suit your model, make and frame. Often, these auto body kits are made for a particular model and brand, so it is possible to get an exact match. The parts you get in a kit are designed to work in tandem and complement each other. So, these parts will work as a single whole. Of course, some enthusiasts do like to mix and match their parts so that the car gets a very different look. One thing is for certain, whether you use all the parts from a single kit, or mix and match, you can alter the look of your vehicle dramatically by choosing the right kit.

Installing the parts from an auto body kit is not everyone’s cup of tea. You need some level of expertise, and a good amount of patience. To ensure proper installation and best results, leave the job to a mechanic. There are mounting kits in the market that claim to make it easy for you to install your kit. But you never know what your kit will require, whether you will need to drill holes or add something else.

We specialize in retail & wholesale in auto body kits & ground effects kits, spoilers & wings, carbon fiber hoods / trunks & accessories, fenders, vertical door kits / lambo doors, hardtops / tonneau covers, projector / halos headlights & tail lights.

looking for any/all job listings in the automotive transmissison mechanic/auto. diagnostic technician field..

I’ve tried searching for a new job in my specified field: “Automotive Diagnostic Technician-Specialist”; ie; also “Experienced Automotive-Transmission Mechanic,” But it seems that I must be going about this in the wrong way…Since Yahoo Job Search keeps saying there aren’t any matches. Which I cannot believe there wouldn’t be any job openings in this category. I am a very experienced, over-worked, under-paid hard-worker simply looking for a better opportunity– All I want is some job listings in my area of expertise. Is it too much to ask for Health Insurance and fair pay for a family-man Mechanic?
I really hope to recieve some sort of helpful feedback at least…
I live in the San Fernando Valley area-Have car will travel!
Thank you.
Sincerely, Gino A.

Gino,
I don’t know how much help this will be. But if you are not interested in working nights, you probably won’t want to read this any further.

I got out of retail auto repair a few years ago and got into fleet repair working for Southern California Edison. The pay is excellent and the benefits are top notch. However, they do get something in return. You must be willing to work swing shift (3pm – midnight) because that is when the trucks are in the yard. You must be willing and able to get a class A drivers license with Hazmat endorsement. Which means you have to pass a physical and drug screening. They will pay and assist you in getting the class A license. You have to be willing to work on anything from golf carts to tandem axle trucks. And you must be willing to be on call including being called out at 2 in the morning in some very treacherous weather conditions. Call outs pay double time.

The job is union so pay is not negotiable. But being union comes with a lot of benefits.

To apply you log into SCE.com and click on careers in the lower part of the screen. There will be no job listings for any of the garages. That’s okay, there never is any listing. Fill out an online resume and use key words like “automotive” “mechanic” and a few others. The resumes are electronically scanned.

Then be patient. It takes time for someone to call. Positions come open regularly because there is a huge retirement bubble going on.

You will probably get hired on as an automotive attendant. That means you will be fueling vehicles at night. This is where everyone starts. But they never stay there. It is a position until you get a class A license and then bid into a hire position.

It is well worth it!
